Empowering the next generation of conservation leaders

Addressing the accelerating and interconnected problems of biodiversity loss and climate change will require a diverse and empowered community of conservation leaders.

The Conservation Collaborative Scholars Program, formerly the Doris Duke Conservation Scholars Program (DDCSP) Collaborative, is the flagship program of Conservation Collaborative. Our Scholars Program is an intensive two-year conservation training and internship program designed to equip emerging leaders from underserved or marginalized communities with the skills necessary for thriving careers in conservation. In the last ten years, our program has proudly graduated over 200 diverse scholars from a variety of backgrounds, fostering an expansive network of professionals dedicated to conservation.
