Our Mission & Vision

The next generation of conservation leaders needs more than passion—they need opportunities, guidance, and meaningful experiences that prepare them for lasting careers in the field. Yet too often, students interested in conservation face unclear pathways, limited exposure to real-world practice, and a lack of sustained support beyond the classroom.

Building on more than a decade of experience designing and running successful conservation training programs, we are developing a new initiative to support undergraduate students as they explore careers in conservation. Through immersive experiences, mentorship, and professional development, the program will help participants build the knowledge, confidence, and connections needed to become effective, long-term contributors to the field.

We envision a future where early-career conservationists enter the workforce well-prepared and supported—able to grow into leadership roles and contribute meaningfully to the challenges ahead. By strengthening the pipeline of talent and equipping students with real-world experience, CCSP aims to help shape a resilient and impactful conservation workforce for the decades to come.
